Hello Dear Readers!
I hope you all are doing well. We have relocated officially to the south. About an hour and a half away from my parents and two hours away from my sisters. The kids have adjusted to the heat.. but I am not sure I have. Hubby is still up at the old house. I won't get started on that fiasco.. lets just say that if you don't have anything good to say.. well you get my drift.
The new house is wonderful! There is so much space and I am not sure what to do with all of it. Goosie has her own room, as do Bubbles and Miniman. I think the phrase I hear the most is "Mom.. their in my room!!" It is almost a good thing to hear. Knowing that there is enough space for our big little family is nice. Mom and Dad are letting me use the table he made her when she was expecting me. It is known as a farm table. As most tables that are this size are usually only seen at old farm houses. Big families just aren't the norm anymore. It is a shame.. but hey that is life. I would enjoy having another little one.. but I just don't think that is in the cards for us. Anyway, the dining room looks like it was made for the big table. As I am hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year for the first time, I am excited to see the big family around it again.
The master bedroom is also a good size and fits our king size four poster. Now if only the mover's had not messed it up. Oh well, I guess someone wanted to buy us a new one. Along with a new couch.
There is a pool in our neighborhood and we have already visited it a few times. I am sure they will close it around Labor Day. I am also sure our neighbors think we are crazy as we are the only ones I have seen visiting it since school started. Anyway, things are going well. The house is almost set up. The majority of the boxes are gone and there is no clutter in the house. Hubby and I are going to work hard to keep it that way. There are still some boxes to go through, but all of that will come with time.
Well, dear readers.. I am sure you have other things to do. This week is a busy one for me as I want the house to be squared away before Hubby comes home to stay. I will try to get on more.. I have to say that being on a basic black out has really made me realize how much time I was putting into the internet that was unnecessary. Now to find the healthy balance.
